M 4.6 earthquake near New Delhi

 
A M 4.6 quake struck northwest of India’s capital, New Delhi today. The region experienced a widely felt M 3.8 in April. Today’s shock occurred beneath the Delhi-Hardwar ridge, an area comprised of hard basement rocks.
