The Database of Seismogenic Faults maps the complex structure of an active fault comprising its subsurface extension and geometry their uncertainties. The applied approach tends to include the different possible surface traces and the fault geomorphic imprint which is important in cases where there is no evidence of previous surface faulting or fault surface exposure.
