M7.5 quake in Aleutian Islands

 

A M7.5 quake struck off the coast of Sand Point, Alaska today, triggering a tsunami warning for much of the Aleutian Islands. The quake struck in the middle of the Shumagin Gap, an area that has not seen a large quake in a long time.
