Data Scientist

Designing, developing, testing, and deploying Geospatial models for better quantifying earthquake risk using machine learning and other big data tools.

– Qualifications

Master’s degree or equivalent in Geophysics (Geophysical Engineering), Earthquake Engineering or related field
4+ years’ experience in big data modeling
Familiarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
Experience in geospatial data, large scale computations, highly available and scalable services using serverless architectures, big data tools, and databases.
Experience in Python (Numpy, Pandas, GDAL, Matplotlib, …), R, Matlab
Postgresql, PostGIS, QGis
Machine learning, AWS.
